Oven Fries

Ingredients

  • 8 Medium Potatoes
  • Garlic Oil (Garlic oil tastes great but if you don’t have it olive oil will do)
  • Salt

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut off a small portion of each end of each potato.
  3. Slice potatoes the down the middle the long way, creating to halves with large bases. Place the potatoes on their bases and slice into strips. Bigger strips might need to be cut in half. Refer to photo.
  4. Don’t try eating a fry raw. There’s a reason you cook potatoes.
  5. Place fries into a bowl of water, mix around with your hands. This helps get the fries nice and crispy. Strain until all water is gone, then dry off fries in a dish towel.
  6. Place fries in one layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle a fair amount of oil on top.
  7. Place in oven. Every 10-15 minutes, turn the fries over. Cook for about 40 Minutes.
