Fried Bananas


  • 3 Very Ripe Bananas (Speckled Peel)
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/4 C. Walnuts (Yum)
  • 1/4 C. Brown Sugar (Double Yum)
  • OPTIONAL - If I wasn’t clear enough before, this ingredient is not necessary and must be provided with your parent’s consent if you are under the age of 21. Some people use a little liquor for well, flambé. Ask your parents. Please.


  1. Combine everything together in a mixing bowl. Don’t mash your bananas.
  2. Using a large skillet with the heat on high, dump your bananas into the pan and stir around until the bananas are slightly mushy. If you have the go ahead, Flambé now!
  3. Serve raw or with a dab of ice cream (or a lot of ice cream, whatever works.) Enjoy immensely.
