1 C. Short Grain Sushi Rice
1 Cucumber Chopped into Sticks like the ones shown
Fully Cooked Crab - Cut into Strips
2 Nori (Dried Seaweed) Mats
1/2 Package Cream Cheese
A bamboo rolling mat
Stuff to serve the sushi with (Wasabi Paste,
, Soy Sauce)
Start your rice cooking (I used a rice steamer).
Cut all your veggies and meats into strips.
Lay out your sushi mat, then the nori.
place a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a one inch strip at the top and bottom.
Place all the filling ingredients in the middle of the nori mat, as pictured.
Roll the sushi towards you, and once you meet the two uncovered nori edges, wet them and fold one over the other. Shape your sushi roll and press it.
While shaping the roll, make sure you don’t press it so hard that the filling comes out the end.
Get an extremely sharp knife, and a bowl of water.
While trying not to rip the nori, cut the sushi. Rub the knife with water in between each cut as to stop the rice from sticking.
Part of sushi is making it look really cool! So do that - and make it look awesome! Enjoy your sushi.
